Middlefield Oaks Assisted Living, located in Cottage Grove, OR is seeking a dedicated and passionate Med Tech to provide high-quality care to the residents in our community.

EXPERIENCE IS A MUST

Responsibilities of the Med Tech

• Administers and documents medications/treatments as directed by residents’ physician.
• Documents and reports changes and observations of resident’s needs and preferences.
• Communicates with the health services team, physicians, other healthcare providers, and responsible parties as needed.
• Provide assistance with activities of daily living in a manner that supports our person-centered care philosophy.
• Assist in daily requirements and tasks as requested.
• Ensure residents are provided privacy, respect, and dignity.
• Follows standard precautions and infection control procedures.
• Completes state required training upon hire and annually. 

• candidates are required to have ORDL and must be 25-years old to drive our Shuttle.

 Required Experience

• Possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Tuberculosis (TB) certificate as required by the State.
• First Aid and CPR Certifications as required by the State.
• Applicants must hold a valid Certified Medication Aide (CMA) or Certified Medication Technician (CMT) credential and ready to support residents with professionalism and care
• A minimum of one (1) year prior caregiving experience required.
• EXPERIENCE IS A MUST
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write in the English language.
